Information in Soltura
Soltura does not ask you to create an account. Your learning progress, preferences, review state, and saved phrases are kept in the app’s local storage on your device. Soltura does not sync this learning data to a Soltura account or server. iOS may include app data in device backups according to your Apple settings.
Speech practice
When you choose to speak in a scene, the app temporarily captures microphone audio and asks Apple’s speech framework to recognize it on-device. If a supported Spanish model is not installed, iOS may download Apple-managed model data to the device; that download does not include your recording. Soltura uses the resulting words to give feedback for that practice turn. The audio and recognized words are not sent to a Soltura server, saved as a recording, or used for advertising. If on-device recognition is still unavailable, the app explains that speech practice is unavailable.
Photos and text you choose
If you use Lee lo que sea, you can take or choose a photo and have iOS Vision recognize its text on-device. The image and recognized text are used temporarily for that reading session. Soltura does not upload them or keep a copy of the photo. Text you paste is likewise handled in the current session.
Purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription billing through StoreKit. Soltura receives the product and transaction status needed to unlock or restore Soltura Pro. Soltura does not receive your full payment card details. Apple’s handling of purchase information is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
Soltura uses RevenueCat to track subscription status. RevenueCat processes an anonymous app identifier, purchase and subscription information, and basic app and device information. Soltura does not send speech audio, recognized words, photos, or saved phrase text to RevenueCat. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
If the RevenueCat webhook is enabled, RevenueCat sends subscription events, such as a trial start, renewal, billing issue, cancellation, or expiry, to Soltura’s Cloudflare service. Soltura keeps the event type, product, anonymous app identifier, transaction identifier, and relevant dates for about 90 days to reconcile subscription changes. These records do not include your payment card or learning content.
Notifications
Optional reminders are scheduled locally by iOS. Soltura does not operate a notification server or use push notifications.
Website visits
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver and secure the pages, Cloudflare may process connection and request information such as an IP address, browser details, and requested page in its network logs. The Soltura website does not use advertising trackers, analytics, or non-essential cookies. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Retention and deletion
Soltura does not keep a server-side copy of your learning data. Local data remains on your device while the app is installed and may be included in device backups based on your settings. Removing the app removes its local app data; Apple retains purchase records according to its own policies and account settings.
